Hi Friends,
Ever go out of your way to get a special gift for someone yet
when you excitedly give it to them they tell you why they don't like it?
Or ....
Ever give a special gift to someone and the next time you see it
It's broken or in the trash?
Ever get excited to give them something again???
Well.... Maybe... Just maybe this is how the world works too.

If you choose to ignore the gifts God has given you...
The gift of sight, of health, the gift of life
or the many presents he sends your way....
A home, a/c, a car, a talent.....
Maybe he stops sending presents your way.
Maybe we have to appreciate what we have in order to truly SEE what we have.
Anyway....
Just my thoughts and my revelation.
I'm NOW truly enjoying smelling the night air.
I'm NOW truly enjoying Looking up to the sky and
I'm NOW truly enjoying being able to run on my own two legs.
I NOW appreciate the me God has chosen to let me be!

Sometimes we get so caught up making time for things we have to do that
we forget to make time for the things that we are meant to do.
And.... sometimes we rationalize ourselves right out of our own destiny.

Maybe we need to STOP worrying about all the possible negative (imagined) outcomes
of situations and instead actually experience the NOW.

Or in a nutshell:
Live your Life..... NOW!
Experience love..... NOW!
Dream your dreams..... NOW!!!!!

And most importantly remember that every second that you breathe there is a chance to
relish the moment. There is beauty and love all over this planet.

I AM a positive person!
I can bounce back from anything and I can still share and give Love.....
I know life's twists and turns lead us to places we never thought we would go... but in the end... It's always good to recognize that with each experience we do grow....
If we grow in a positive or negative way..... That choice is only up to us...
We can be... we can do.. we can cause this world to be a better place for somebody...
Maybe just an uplifting word in a time of need can change someone's whole being...

I'm positive that I love...... Love!
I'm positive that I will learn all my lessons and not have to keep repeating them to understand their value.
I'm positive that I have grown and will continue to grow and change.
I'm positive that there are sooooo many wonderful uplifitng souls in this world that I am truly blessed to meet
I'm positive that good does overcome everything
I'm positive that love... real love... prevails!
I'm positive that I have soooo many real... true loves to be thankful for..
So many friends who truly love me, care for me and watch out for me!

I'm positive that each of us has much to be appreciative for
I'm positive that the only real problem is we never let the scale be balanced
I'm positive that I actually DO love all of my real friends... you know who you are.....
And I'm positive that myspace has been a blessing for me!
I love the bonds, the support, the inspiration .... from people who I "technically" don't know!
I'm positive that I will always give life and people a chance!

Don't let past situations get you down.... Learn your lesson but like highschool.... please don't repeat 12th grqade. GRADUATE! EVOLVE..... turn yourself into the wonderful person you know that you truly are.

he Best Story I've Ever Heard!


My New Myspace friend NINO sent me this story. It's the most wonderful thing I've ever heard. It's funny how ... we've never met and he's only been my friend for a little over a week.. Yet... for some reason he instictively new exactly what I needed to hear!. Angels do indeed watch over us. I hope it can help you conquer your fears!

This is the story of the Marathon Man, you may have heard it before and I may not tell it exact, but nevertheless here goes. For the purposes of this story will call our marathon man Frank. It's really the story of whoever relates to it. Here goes.

Frank is about 40 years old. He decides one day to run the local marathon. Of course Frank's completely out of shape as he hasn't exercised in years. Not only that he is a desk jockey (works in an office) so he's not very active to begin with. He starts training for the marathon. The first day goes really well, heck he's pumped up and excited. A few days go by and each day he runs a little futher as part of his training. On the fouth day of training as he's getting close to his house he says to himself "I don't think I'm going to make it", but he only has a little futher to go. He makes it home and his wife praises him for doing so well. Each day he adds another mile to his training run and each day as he gets to the last mile that voice in his head starts telling him that he's not going to make, it isn't worth it, whats the point anyway. But his loving wife praises him at how well he's doing, she even compliments him on how much better he looks. Even Frank's coworkers notice that he's looking better. Frank continues his training each day and some days his friends in the neighborhood see him running by they shout to him as he passes by "Alright Frank, You can do it", "Looking good Franky", "Go champ go". But as usual he gets near the end of his run and his mind goes off "I'm not going to make it", "I'm too tired to finish", "I'm too old for this", "My legs can't take it", "I should just quit, I'm not worth it". Finally he makes it home again his wife praises him on how well he's doing. She even informs him that his speed is picking up and he's making better times.

At last the day of the marathon arrives. As Frank waits for it to begin all his friends and family shout words of encouragement, " You can do it Frank", "Your going to make it Frank", "See you at the finish line Frank". The marathon starts and Frank's doing really well the first five miles and as he passes a group of friends he hears them shout "go Frank go" , "You can do it". He keeps up a steady pace but begins to tire a little he hears himself "Your not going to make it", but at that same time he hears his wife's voice in the crowd "You can do it honey". The hours pass and Frank's feeling every mile he's run, but he's getting close to the end and again the voices in his head start telling him "Your not going to make", "it's not worth it", "what's it matter anyway", "It's not like your going to win", "Your a loser", "If you stop now the pain will end", but he keeps running cause he hears his friend shouting "You can make it". Finally he's at the final stretch where everybody is lined up along the road and now everybody is shouting "You can do it, just keep going", even complete strangers are shouting words of encouragment. Again he hears himself "You not going to make it", "Your too old", "You should just quit".

As the finish line come into view Frank has an ephiphiny and it hits him hard, he realizes that the only person thats against him is himself!

Life is nothing without struggle.
I think it's funny that as humans...
we tend to de-value anything we achieve.,
It's like we suffer from the if only I had "that" syndrome.
Meaning: If only I had "that"....Everything would be okay..
And when we get the coveted "that" .... somehow everything is still not okay. So then we look for something else and think if only I had "that"... Everything would be okay.

We tend to relive all negative events which make us sad over and over in our head like a bad recording yet we seldom, if ever replay the good events which make us happy.
That's why it's so hard to keep the scales balanced.
We always tend forget what's on the good side.
